Here at Mantra Pandanas we are committed to embedding sustainability into every facet of our daily operations. We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey and are continually striving to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible. Below are some of the initiatives we have implemented to date.
As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce single-use plastics across our operations, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use plastic dry amenities, taking a bold step towards a plastic-free environment. By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request bamboo alternatives by calling room service or visiting our friendly team at reception.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we have made the proactive decision to move to large format amenities, replacing our single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations. This commitment aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship and reflects our ongoing efforts to improve sustainability in all aspects of our hotel.
At Table Forty-Three, we are committed to reducing food wastage and promoting sustainable practices across our food and beverage outlet and conferencing department. We understand the importance of minimising our environmental impact while delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
At Mantra Pandanas, all hotel waste is separated into co-mingle, cardboard, food waste and general waste, minimising our impact on landfill.
We are committed to maintaining strong connections with our local community and give back wherever possible. Some of the local organisations we support include:
Mantra Pandanas acknowledges the Larrakia people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we are situated. We pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all First Nations people of this country.
